WHAT WE’RE CREATING: A seasonal online literary journal that publishes short fiction, creative nonfiction, or personal essays. We are experiencing a transition from publishing printed book to producing digital collections, and looking for stories that resonate with the theme
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO CONTRIBUTE: 1,000-5,000 word prose filled with dynamic, multilayered – even edgy – characters. We’re drawn to compelling women characters within a framework of excellent writing and storytelling. Send your short fiction, creative nonfiction, or personal essays. All genres welcome. The intended audience will be 17+.
WHO WE’D LOVE TO SUBMIT: Writers of all identities, and we encourage voices from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

This is an anonymous selection process, so submission pages should not have any identifying information (i.e., no name, email address, or any other personal information).

We accept .doc/.docx files.

In the body of your email, please include the title of your submission and the category (short fiction, personal essay, etc.)

No fee to submit.

Simultaneous submissions are allowed. Please immediately advise us if your piece is accepted elsewhere.

DEADLINE: Friday March 15, 2024. Decisions will be rendered by April 2024. Publication is expected in May/June 2024.
